Charitable giving is down in 2009 so far, but the fourth quarter, typically the busiest for charitable donations, could provide much-needed cash, a new poll says. More than half of fundraisers say their totals raised so far this year are lower than the same period last year, says a poll conducted by the Association of Fundraising Professionals on its website.
